Front Page News: Piston's Rolling

So things are looking up for the Stones. Sure - they got blown out in New Jersey yesterday and they're down 0-3 to a team they have no chance in hell of beating. But luckily, that's no longer important as the Pistons got the number 2 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Now we all know that LeBron "Moneybags" James will go with the first pick. My first thoughts were that this left the Pissies with a tough choice: Darko or Melo. But upon seeing Joey D barely containing himself on national TV while trying overwhelmingly hard not to give away he wants Darko, I think the decision has been made.

Now, I know what you're asking yourself - who is this Darko character? Well, that's what I'm here for.

Darko Milicic is a 17-year old Yugoslavian pro player who is actually 6 months younger than LeBron.

He's 7 feet tall and some believe he'll be 7'2" by the time he stops growing.

He's been playing pro ball in Yugoslavia for a couple years and many say he's more than ready.

He's got three point range, with handles mind you, can run the floor, has low post moves, has quite a nasty streak, and compares his game to KG.

And the best part - No one had even heard of him until a couple months ago and now GMs and Presidents from the NBA are tripping over themselves talking about this kid.

Check out this article from ESPN a couple months ago. Sounds like the real deal to me.

And from what I can tell from his stats in written in Serbian, he's averaging 67 points and 48 rebounds per game, give or take a couple....

Are you kidding me ? The emergence of Prince and Memo with Darko down low - Carlisle might not even be able to screw this one up.

Big Fan

So, I'll be honest - I want Annika to own in her first PGA tournament. I'm getting a little tired of the hype - like the shot-by-shot analysis on ESPN.com. But she truly should go down as a pioneer in sports.

Look-a-likes

Call me crazy, but while watching the Spurs/Mavericks game last night I noticed a strange coincidence. Tell me Steve Nash doesn't look like Kelly from the Bad News Bears all grown up and shit.

The proof is in the pudding. I wonder if Nash drives a Harley....

Stark Difference

The only reason 72% of men watch Monday Night Football has left for good.

This won't be good for the ol' ratings.
